Is BelloPOS really free?
Yes. BelloPOS Lite is free forever. It is not a trial. You can sell, print receipts, add products, count stock, scan barcodes and use a customer screen. It never runs out, and we never ask for a card.
Do I have to pay every month?
No. There are no monthly fees. You pay Go or Pro only one time, and it is yours forever. Updates are free too. A new version comes out every month for every plan, even Lite.
Which plan should I pick?
Try Lite first. It is free. Pick Go if you have one till and want invoices, backups and customers who pay later. Pick Pro if you have a restaurant, more than one till, or need books for your accountant. Pro has everything.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Everything runs on your own Windows PC. If the internet stops, you keep selling. You only need internet to download the app and to turn on a paid plan.
What do I need to use it?
Just a Windows PC or laptop. A touch screen, a receipt printer, a barcode scanner and a cash drawer are nice to have, but you can start without them. A mouse and a keyboard are enough.
Which barcode scanners and printers work?
Any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner works. You do not need to set anything up. For receipts, use a 58 mm or 80 mm receipt printer. For A4 invoices, use any normal Windows printer.
Can I put my ICE and VAT on the receipt?
Yes. You choose what goes at the top of the receipt: shop name, address, phone and ICE. You set the VAT for each product, and the receipt shows it. With Go, you can also make numbered PDF invoices.
Can I use more than one till in my shop?
Yes, with Pro. One PC is the main one. The other tills, the kitchen screens and the waiter phones connect to it on your shop's own network. It keeps working even when the internet is down.
Does it work for restaurants, with tables and a kitchen?
Yes, with Pro. Draw your rooms and tables. See the bill for each table. Split a bill or move it. Orders go to a kitchen screen or a kitchen printer. Waiters can take orders on a phone.
Where is my data kept? What if my PC breaks?
Your data is on your own PC, in your shop. Nothing is sent to us. To be safe, make backups. Go makes them for you on a schedule. On any plan, you can copy your data to a USB stick.
Do my sales go to the cloud?
No. BelloPOS does not send your sales online. That is why it keeps working with no internet. Your sales stay on your PC, and your backups are files you keep.
Can you help me set it up and add my products?
Yes. With Go, we add your first 20 products and 10 groups with you. With Pro, your first 1,000 products and 100 groups. Just send us your product list. You can buy more help if you need it.
Which languages does the app speak?
24 languages, including French, Arabic, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Indonesian, Urdu and Swahili. Right-to-left languages like Arabic display correctly. Receipts and screens follow the language you pick.
