On Telegram, ask from anywhere. Get reports, alerts when stock runs low or a sale is deleted, and send product photos straight to your catalog.

Ares only does what each user is allowed to do, and asks before deleting or changing many things at once.
Your tills, your waiters' phones and the kitchen screen all work on a single database that sits in your shop, not in the cloud, not on someone else's server.
One computer holds the database: products, stock, prices, sales and staff. It is the machine that stays on, and everything else simply connects to it.
Your local network · no internet needed

Extra checkout stations join over your own network, by cable or Wi-Fi. A sale rung up on one till shows on all of them straight away, and the stock count follows.

Your waiter takes the order at the table from a phone browser. Nothing to install, no app store, and nothing to type again at the counter.

Orders appear in the kitchen the moment they are sent, on any phone or tablet browser. No paper tickets, no slips lost between the room and the pass.
The database is on your own PC. If the internet drops, and it does, the tills, the phones and the kitchen keep working.
Take Pro as a lifetime licence: no fee per till, no yearly renewal, no bill that grows with your turnover. Prefer monthly? Buy a key only for the months you need.
Start with one till today. Add a second station, the waiters' phones and the kitchen screen when the business is ready: same app, same data.
Multi-terminal, the handheld app and the kitchen app are included in the Pro licence.

What store owners told us after switching to BelloPOS.
Even when the internet drops, BelloPOS keeps selling and printing receipts. Our counter never stops, and that is exactly what I needed.
I installed it myself in one afternoon. The barcode scanner and the receipt printer worked straight away, no technician needed.
Paying once instead of every month made the choice easy. And the free updates keep bringing features we actually use.
Now I know exactly what is in stock and which customers still owe me money. It saves me time every single day.

What each module does, the screens it uses, and the questions merchants ask about it.
The till screen your staff will actually use: one tap per item, one second per payment, and nothing waiting on a connection.
Every sale and every delivery moves the count, so what the screen says is what is actually on the shelf.
Any scanner works out of the box, and anything without a barcode gets one you print yourself.
A thermal ticket for the queue, a proper PDF invoice for the customer who asks, both out of the same sale.
Know who is in front of you, what they bought last time, and the details their next invoice needs.
Set the limit before the sale, follow every debit and payment, and hand the customer a statement that adds up.
Record what arrived and what you paid, then let stock, cost prices and supplier history update together.
What sold, what earned, who sold it and what to order next, without exporting anything to a spreadsheet.
The floor, the pass and the bill on one system, still running when the line goes down mid service.
A phone left for repair, a haircut booked for 10 o'clock, a leak to fix at a customer's: one ticket per job, one number, nothing lost.
Not an offline mode that catches up later: the software simply runs where your shop is.
One PC holds the data, the other terminals talk to it over your own network, and nothing leaves the building.
Everyone gets their own login, each role gets exactly the buttons it should have, and the history says who did what.
Many POS apps need data for every sale. In Ghana that is a gamble: when ECG cuts the power, the router goes off, the network drops, and the queue at the counter grows. BelloPOS keeps everything on the computer in your shop. Put the laptop and receipt printer on a small UPS or inverter and you keep scanning, printing receipts and counting stock until the lights come back. Your customer pays with cash or MoMo on their own phone, and you record the payment in BelloPOS. There is nothing to sync later and nothing to type in twice: the day's sales are already in your report, down to the last pesewa.
It is made for the way Ghanaians trade. A provision shop in Tamale can run the free Lite plan on an old laptop. A chop bar in Kumasi can send orders to the kitchen and keep a bill for every table with Pro. A building materials shop in Tema can give contractors their own prices and keep a proper record of customers who take goods on credit and pay at month-end. The 7-day Pro trial needs no card, and our team sets up Pro and Pro+ for you remotely, then helps on WhatsApp. A mini mart in Accra or a cosmetics shop in Takoradi gets the same tools in plain English, with the AI assistant Ares ready to tell you how much you sold this week.
A good POS system makes the paperwork easier, but the rules are set by the Ghana Revenue Authority and the Data Protection Commission. Here is a plain summary of the points that touch your counter, with the official source for each. Rules change, so confirm anything that affects your business with your accountant or your GRA Taxpayer Service Centre.
GRA says that under the VAT Act, 2025 (Act 1151), effective 1 January 2026, VAT is 15%, plus the NHIL at 2.5% and the GETFund Levy at 2.5%, all on the same base, for an effective 20%. The 1% COVID-19 Health Recovery Levy has been abolished. BelloPOS keeps your selling prices and daily sales totals, while the VAT receipts themselves come from E-VAT, so ask your accountant how to price and declare.
gra.gov.ghGRA's notice to VAT-registered taxpayers says the registration threshold for businesses dealing in goods rose from GH₵200,000 to GH₵750,000 a year, and the VAT Flat Rate Scheme has been abolished. Existing flat rate taxpayers below the threshold should stay registered until GRA de-registers them. Your BelloPOS reports show your yearly sales, but whether you must register is a question for your accountant.
gra.gov.ghE-VAT is GRA's electronic system for issuing VAT receipts to VAT-registered businesses. Each receipt carries a QR code, the Commissioner-General's signature and a machine registration code. GRA installs it free of charge, or links it to an existing invoicing system, on request at your Taxpayer Service Centre. BelloPOS is not certified for E-VAT and does not connect to it.
gra.gov.ghGRA says authorised computer-generated invoices must show NHIL, GETFund Levy and VAT on separate lines, and the total of the three is mandatory. Where prices include tax, the amount goes in the field labelled total tax inclusive value. BelloPOS receipts are for your customers and your own records. They are not GRA-authorised VAT invoices, so VAT-registered shops issue those through E-VAT.
gra.gov.ghGRA says businesses with annual sales above GH₵20,000 and up to GH₵500,000 can pay presumptive tax at 3% of turnover, and smaller ones a fixed amount, with returns and payments through the MTS app, MoMo or *880#. Either way, GRA asks for your sales figures. BelloPOS gives you daily, monthly and yearly sales totals, so the number is ready when your accountant asks.
gra.gov.ghIf you keep customer names and phone numbers, for credit or a loyalty list, the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) applies. The Data Protection Commission says all data controllers and processors must register with it, with fees set by the size of the business. BelloPOS keeps this data on your own computer, not in our cloud. Check with the Commission whether your shop must register.
dpc.gov.ghBelloPOS is not certified, accredited or approved by the Ghana Revenue Authority or any other Ghanaian authority. It is not an E-VAT system and does not issue GRA VAT invoices or any electronic fiscal document. This summary is not tax or legal advice: check with your accountant or your GRA Taxpayer Service Centre before relying on it.
Ghanaians pay with cash and mobile money every day, with cards and bank transfers for bigger amounts. You add the payment methods your shop takes, and each sale in BelloPOS records how it was paid, while the money itself goes through MoMo, your bank's terminal or your bank account.
BelloPOS does not connect to mobile money, card terminals or banks, and it does not process payments. The customer pays through MoMo, your terminal or a transfer, you confirm the money has arrived, then you record the method and amount in BelloPOS.
Sachet water, Milo, sugar, tinned tomatoes and phone credit all day long, paid in cash or MTN MoMo. The owner scans what has a barcode and prints labels for what is repacked. Regulars buy on credit and pay at month-end, with Go keeping each balance and a limit so nobody runs up too much. During dumsor, a small UPS keeps the laptop and printer going.
Fufu, banku and waakye at lunchtime, with a queue that does not wait. With Pro, the counter sends each order to the kitchen printer, servers take orders at the tables on their own phones, and each table keeps its own bill. Every sale is saved on the PC in the shop, so a dropped network in Adum never stops service. At night the owner checks the best sellers.
Mechanics and walk-in drivers want different prices. BelloPOS Go keeps a trade price group for fitters, so the right price appears when their account is picked at the counter. Filters, brake pads and bulbs are received against purchase orders from importers, and low-stock alerts show what to reorder. Workshops that settle at the end of the week get a credit account and a printed statement.
Hair products, body creams, wigs and dresses in many sizes make counting by hand slow. The owner prints barcode labels for every item, sells from a laptop at the counter and sees which lines move on the best-seller report. Customers pay in cash, MoMo or Telecel Cash, each sale records how it was paid, and the owner counts the drawer at closing.
Yes, as long as the computer or tablet has power. BelloPOS runs on your own PC, Mac or Android tablet and does not need the internet to sell, print receipts or count stock, so a dead router or weak data signal does not stop your counter. Many shops run the laptop, receipt printer and cash drawer from a small UPS or inverter, and a tablet keeps running on its battery. Your customers' MoMo payments still go through on their phones, and you record each one in BelloPOS. Only Ares AI and plan activation need the internet.
Yes. BelloPOS Lite is free for good, not a trial. You can sell, print receipts, add products, scan barcodes, track stock and use a customer screen on one counter. We never ask for a card. When you want customer credit, trade prices, scheduled backups or Ares AI, move up to Go. Restaurants, chop bars and shops with more than one counter usually choose Pro.
The pricing page shows every plan for Ghana. Go, Pro and Pro+ are sold as a one-time licence that you keep for good, or as a monthly or yearly key paid upfront, with no automatic renewal and nothing taken from your account without you asking. If a key ends, the app goes back to Lite and keeps all your data. Try every Pro feature free for 7 days, and paid plans have a 14-day money-back guarantee.
No. BelloPOS is not certified or accredited by GRA, does not connect to E-VAT and does not issue GRA VAT invoices or any electronic fiscal document. If your business is VAT-registered, you issue VAT receipts through E-VAT, which GRA installs on request at your Taxpayer Service Centre. Many shops use BelloPOS alongside it for sales, stock, customer credit and reports. Ask your accountant how to set this up.
Yes, side by side. BelloPOS does not connect to mobile money or process payments. The customer pays from their phone to your merchant number or wallet, you check the confirmation message, then choose MoMo, Telecel Cash or AT Money as the payment method in BelloPOS. Each sale then shows how it was paid, which helps you check your wallet statement at closing and spot a missing payment.
A Windows PC or laptop, or a Mac running macOS 12 or later. A touch screen, an 80 mm or 58 mm receipt printer, a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner and a cash drawer are useful but optional, and most models sold in Accra and Kumasi will work. BelloPOS also runs on Android tablets (Android 7 or later). With Pro, extra counters and servers' phones connect to the main PC over your shop's own Wi-Fi, with no internet needed.
You can install Lite yourself in a few minutes. Pro and Pro+ include our Ready-to-Sell Pack: we install BelloPOS, set up your printer, scanner and cash drawer, add your products and train your staff, remotely and on WhatsApp. Pro+ adds all your products loaded for you, data imported from Excel or your old system, and 12 months of priority help. Go buyers can ask questions on WhatsApp too.
On your own computer, in your shop. BelloPOS does not send your sales or customer details to the cloud, which is why it keeps working offline and why you stay in control of your customers' personal data. Because everything lives on one machine, make backups: copy them to a USB stick on any plan, or let Go and above back up on a schedule, so a damaged laptop does not cost you your records.
