Features that fit the Ghanaian counter

Every BelloPOS feature runs on the computer in your shop, so nothing depends on mobile data, fibre or a cloud server when the network drops or dumsor hits. Sell from a touch screen or a keyboard, scan barcodes with any USB or Bluetooth scanner, open the cash drawer and print receipts on a 58 mm or 80 mm printer. Put your shop name, address and phone number at the top of every receipt. Stock goes down with each sale and up with each delivery, and low-stock alerts tell you what to reorder.

The paid plans add the tools Ghanaian traders ask for most. Go brings customer credit for regulars who pay at month-end, with credit limits and statements, plus trade price groups for retailers, caterers and contractors, purchase orders, sales export to PDF and scheduled backups. Pro adds tables and kitchen printing for restaurants and chop bars, extra counters on your shop network and a phone app for servers and floor staff. Ares, the AI assistant, answers questions like how much you sold today, in plain English.

Highlights for Ghanaian businesses

Keeps selling offline

Sales, stock, receipts and reports all run on your own PC. When the network drops or the power goes, the counter carries on. Add a UPS or inverter for the laptop and printer, and you trade straight through dumsor, then carry on as normal when the lights return.

Cash and MoMo on every sale

Add cash, MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AT Money, card and transfer as payment methods and pick one on each sale, so every sale shows how it was paid. At closing, count the drawer against the day's sales and check your wallet statements against the MoMo sales.

Customer credit, done properly

Regulars who take goods now and pay later get a real account in Go: a credit limit checked at the counter, a record of every purchase and payment, and a printable statement. No more torn exercise books or arguments over what is owed.

Trade and wholesale prices

Give retailers, caterers, mechanics and contractors their own price group in Go. Pick the customer at the counter and the right price appears automatically, while walk-in customers pay the normal shelf price. One product list serves both.

More counters and servers' phones

Pro links several counters, a kitchen printer or screen and staff phones to one main PC over your shop's own Wi-Fi. Servers take orders at the table, the kitchen sees them at once, and it all keeps working when the internet is down.

How Ghanaian businesses use BelloPOS

A provision shop in Tamale

Sachet water, Milo, sugar, tinned tomatoes and phone credit all day long, paid in cash or MTN MoMo. The owner scans what has a barcode and prints labels for what is repacked. Regulars buy on credit and pay at month-end, with Go keeping each balance and a limit so nobody runs up too much. During dumsor, a small UPS keeps the laptop and printer going.

A chop bar in Kumasi

Fufu, banku and waakye at lunchtime, with a queue that does not wait. With Pro, the counter sends each order to the kitchen printer, servers take orders at the tables on their own phones, and each table keeps its own bill. Every sale is saved on the PC in the shop, so a dropped network in Adum never stops service. At night the owner checks the best sellers.

A spare parts shop at Abossey Okai, Accra

Mechanics and walk-in drivers want different prices. BelloPOS Go keeps a trade price group for fitters, so the right price appears when their account is picked at the counter. Filters, brake pads and bulbs are received against purchase orders from importers, and low-stock alerts show what to reorder. Workshops that settle at the end of the week get a credit account and a printed statement.

A cosmetics and fashion shop in Takoradi

Hair products, body creams, wigs and dresses in many sizes make counting by hand slow. The owner prints barcode labels for every item, sells from a laptop at the counter and sees which lines move on the best-seller report. Customers pay in cash, MoMo or Telecel Cash, each sale records how it was paid, and the owner counts the drawer at closing.

Runs anywhere
