Yes. Download BelloPOS for free, then turn on the Pro trial in the app. For 7 days you get every Pro feature, Ares AI included. No card, nothing to pay. When the trial ends, you go back to Lite and keep all your data.

No, not unless you want to. You pay Go, Pro or Pro+ only one time, and it is yours forever. If you prefer, Go, Pro and Pro+ are also sold by the month: buy a key for as many months as you need, with the same features, and move to the lifetime licence whenever you like. Updates are free too: a new version comes out every month for every plan. Compared with a monthly POS subscription, BelloPOS usually pays for itself within the first year or two.

Ares is the AI assistant inside BelloPOS Go, Pro and Pro+. Ask it in plain words, by text or voice, on the till or on Telegram: "How much did I sell today?", "Add 24 Fanta at 7", "Send me this month's sales as a PDF". It answers and does the work. Ares runs on your own DeepSeek or Gemini AI key, which usually costs a few cents a day, paid to that provider. With Pro and Pro+, we connect it for you. Ares needs internet; the rest of BelloPOS does not.

Yes. Everything runs on your own Windows PC, Mac or Android tablet. If the internet stops, you keep selling. You only need internet to download the app, to turn on a paid plan, and for Ares AI.

Just a Windows PC or laptop, or a Mac (macOS 12 or later). A touch screen, a receipt printer, a barcode scanner and a cash drawer are nice to have, but you can start without them. A mouse and a keyboard are enough.

Any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner works. You do not need to set anything up. For receipts, use a 58 mm or 80 mm receipt printer. For A4 invoices, use any normal printer.

Yes. You choose what goes at the top of the receipt: shop name, address, phone and ICE. You set the VAT for each product, and the receipt shows it. With Go, you can also make numbered PDF invoices.

Yes, with Pro. One PC is the main one. The other tills, the kitchen screens and the waiter phones connect to it on your shop's own network. It keeps working even when the internet is down.
