Features that fit the Nigerian counter

Every BelloPOS feature runs on the computer in your shop, so nothing depends on MTN, Airtel or a cloud server staying up. Sell from a touch screen or a keyboard, scan barcodes with any USB or Bluetooth scanner, open the cash drawer and print receipts on a 58 mm or 80 mm printer with your shop name, address and phone at the top. Stock goes down with each sale and up with each delivery, and low-stock alerts tell you what to reorder before customers start asking.

The paid plans add what Nigerian traders ask for most. Go brings customer credit with limits and statements, wholesale price groups for traders who buy by the carton, sales export to PDF, an activity log of who did what, and automatic backups. Pro adds tables and a kitchen screen for restaurants and bukas, several tills sharing one stock over your shop's Wi-Fi, a handheld web app for floor staff, and reports sent by Telegram or email. Ares, the AI assistant, answers questions like how much you sold today in plain English.

Highlights for Nigerian businesses

Sells offline

Sales, stock, receipts and reports all run on your own PC. When the network is down or the light goes, the counter carries on. Put the PC and printer on an inverter or UPS so the switch to the gen does not restart anything, and you will not lose a single sale.

Works beside your POS terminal

Keep your Moniepoint, Opay, PalmPay or bank terminal. BelloPOS records whether each sale was paid by cash, transfer or terminal, so you can check sales against your alerts, count the drawer at closing and spot missing money the same day.

Customer credit without the exercise book

With Go, every regular who buys on credit gets an account with a limit. Purchases and payments are recorded as they happen, and a statement settles any argument. You see at a glance who owes, how much and since when.

Retail and wholesale prices

Sell a single tin to a walk-in customer and a full carton to a trader, each at the right price. Wholesale price groups in Go put the correct price on the screen automatically, so staff never have to remember a separate price list.

Stock you can trust

Every sale, delivery and adjustment updates the count. Low-stock lists tell you what to reorder before the shelf is empty, and the activity log shows which user changed what, which helps when stock goes missing between the store and the shop floor.

How Nigerian businesses use BelloPOS

A provision store in Bodija, Ibadan

One counter, one laptop, a small receipt printer and a barcode scanner. The owner runs the free Lite plan: every tin of milk, sachet of detergent and crate of drinks is scanned, and stock goes down with each sale. At night the report shows what sold and what is finishing, so the Monday trip to the wholesaler has a proper list instead of guesswork.

A supermarket in Lekki, Lagos

Three tills at busy times on Saturday, with transfer, terminal and cash all in play. On Pro, every till shares the same stock and prices over the shop's own Wi-Fi, and floor staff use the handheld web app to check items. Each sale records how it was paid, and the manager checks the transfer sales against the bank alerts and counts the drawer before closing.

A buka in Wuse, Abuja

Lunch is the rush: rice, swallow and soups, plates for dine-in and takeaway packs for the offices nearby. With the Pro restaurant module, orders go to tables, the kitchen sees them on a phone, and drinks come out of stock automatically. When the light goes and the gen comes on, nothing is lost, because the orders live on the PC, not online.

A foodstuff wholesaler in Kano

Retail customers buy by the piece, traders buy by the bag or carton. With Go, each trader is placed in a wholesale price group and the right price appears at the till. Regular buyers take goods on credit with a limit, and their statement shows every purchase and payment, so arguments over who owes what are settled from the screen.
