An appliance repairer works in two places: the workshop, where a microwave or a TV is dropped off, and the customer’s kitchen, where a washing machine is too heavy to move. BelloPOS Services handles both. Each job is a numbered ticket with the appliance, its serial number, the fault, its condition and what came with it, and when the repair happens at home, the address and the visit time.

Visits go on the calendar by day or week, with each technician’s load per day; drag a visit to another slot to reschedule it. Quote first, use parts from your own stock, take a deposit, and the delivery starts a warranty that recognises the appliance if it comes back. It is part of BelloPOS Pro and works offline on your own computer.

How a job goes

1Record the job: customer, appliance, serial, fault, workshop or address.
2Book the visit on the calendar and assign the technician.
3Diagnose, quote and record the customer’s answer.
4Repair with parts from stock; the ticket moves through your statuses.
5Take payment, print the invoice if needed, and the warranty starts.

How Kenya pays, and how you record it

BelloPOS does not process payments and is not connected to M-Pesa, banks or card machines. The customer pays the way they always do, and you pick the payment method on the sale in BelloPOS, so every sale shows how it was paid. You can add your own payment methods to match how your shop gets paid.

Because BelloPOS does not read your M-Pesa statement, check the day's M-Pesa sales against your Till or Paybill statement at closing. A gap usually means a payment was recorded under the wrong method.

Questions merchants ask

Can I plan home visits?

Yes. A ticket can carry the customer’s address and a visit time. The calendar shows visits by month, week or day, and the technicians’ load per day.

Does the warranty differ by job?

Yes. Each service type has its own warranty length, so an installation and a quick repair can carry different guarantees.

Can technicians update jobs from the field?

On the shop’s Wi-Fi, the staff phone app updates tickets, parts, photos and payments; outside the shop, BelloPOS stays on your own network and does not need a cloud account.
