Free POS for stationery and school supply shops

For a stationery shop, September is the year: parents with long lists, dozens of small items per basket, and a queue out the door. BelloPOS rings up notebooks, pens and geometry sets by barcode or by tap, totals the list in seconds and prints the ticket, on your shop's Windows PC or Mac, with no internet needed.

Choose "School supplies" at setup and the demo database is filled with notebooks, writing tools, bags, geometry and stationery, in your language and currency. Print your own barcode labels for loose pens and erasers, and let stock alerts tell you which items to reorder before the rush peaks.

How Kenya pays, and how you record it

BelloPOS does not process payments and is not connected to M-Pesa, banks or card machines. The customer pays the way they always do, and you pick the payment method on the sale in BelloPOS, so every sale shows how it was paid. You can add your own payment methods to match how your shop gets paid.

M-Pesa Paybill, added as another payment method if you use one
Airtel Money and bank app transfers
Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) on your own PDQ machine

Because BelloPOS does not read your M-Pesa statement, check the day's M-Pesa sales against your Till or Paybill statement at closing. A gap usually means a payment was recorded under the wrong method.

Can I sell items that have no barcode?

Yes. Put them on the product grid or print your own barcode labels from BelloPOS.

Is there a demo catalogue for school supplies?

Yes. At setup choose "Try with demo data", then "School supplies", and the catalogue is created in your language and currency.

Does it work offline?

Yes, entirely. The data lives on your own PC, so the busiest week of the year never depends on the connection.
