A salon’s day is a grid of appointments: a colouring at 10, two haircuts at 11, a manicure squeezed in at lunch. BelloPOS Services books each one with the client, the service type (haircut, colouring, nails, facial, massage, hair removal), the staff member, the time and the notes, including allergies, so the next stylist knows before they start.

The calendar shows the week or the day per staff member, and a booking moves to another slot with a drag. Statuses go from booked and confirmed to in progress and done, and a no-show is recorded as one. Products used can come off stock, and the shampoo or polish a client takes home is a normal sale at the till. It is part of BelloPOS Pro and works offline.

How a job goes

1Book the client: service, staff member, time, notes.
2Confirm the booking; it shows on the calendar.
3Do the service and add the products used.
4Mark it done, or no-show if the client did not come.
5Take payment, and sell retail products at the till.

How Ethiopia pays, and how you record it

BelloPOS does not process payments and is not connected to telebirr, CBE Birr, M-Pesa, banks or card machines. The customer pays the way they always do, and you pick the payment method on the sale in BelloPOS, so every sale shows how it was paid. You can add your own payment methods to match how your shop gets paid.

Because BelloPOS does not read your telebirr or bank statements, check the sales recorded under each method against the wallet or bank statement at closing. A gap usually means a payment was recorded under the wrong method.

Questions merchants ask

Can each stylist have their own calendar?

Yes. Filter the calendar by staff member, and see how many bookings each one has per day.

Can I record allergies?

Yes. The booking has a field for allergies and notes, and a search by the client’s name lists their past bookings.

Is it the same as the beauty shop POS?

It is the same app: the till sells your products, and the Services module (Pro) adds the appointments.
