BelloPOS for your trade
Garage software for car repair workshops
Plate, mileage, the keys and the quote: every vehicle in the workshop on one job card.
Free download for Windows · checking the latest release… · works offline

A garage has cars in every bay and customers on the phone asking when theirs will be ready. BelloPOS Services opens a numbered job card for each vehicle with the customer, the make and model, the plate, the VIN, the year, the mileage and the fuel level, its condition on arrival and what was left inside: keys, papers, spare wheel, jack, child seat.
Assign the mechanic, diagnose, send the quote and record the answer before the work starts. Parts come off your stock as you add them, labour and parts make the total, and the customer pays a deposit and the balance at pickup. Oil changes, brakes, tyres and bodywork each carry their own warranty, and a plate that comes back is recognised. It runs in BelloPOS Pro, next to the till where you sell parts over the counter.
What you get
A job card per vehicle
Plate, VIN, year, mileage and fuel level on the card, with the vehicle’s condition and what was left inside it.
Quote, then repair
Record the estimate and the customer’s answer, then labour and parts, so the bill never surprises anyone.
Mechanics and their jobs
Each card has its mechanic; the calendar and the dashboard show who has what, what is waiting for parts and what is overdue.
Warranty by type of work
Repairs, oil changes, brakes, tyres and bodywork each have a warranty length, and a returning plate is spotted as a warranty return.

How a job goes
- 1Check the car in: plate, mileage, fuel, what is inside, the complaint.
- 2Print the customer’s ticket and the label for the keys.
- 3Diagnose, quote and record the answer.
- 4Repair with parts from stock; the card moves to ready.
- 5Send the WhatsApp message, take payment and print the invoice.
How customers pay in the UK, and how BelloPOS records it
Cards now make up the large majority of UK payments, with debit cards alone accounting for more than half and cash down to around one payment in twelve, according to UK Finance. Your till has to record every one of these correctly.
- Contactless debit and credit cards, the everyday way to pay on the high street
- Chip and PIN for larger amounts or when contactless is declined
- Apple Pay, Google Pay and other mobile wallets, taken on the same card machine
- Cash, with a float, cash in and out, and a counted drawer at close
- Bank transfer and Faster Payments, common for trade and account customers
- Customer credit (on account) for regulars who settle at the end of the week or month, with BelloPOS Go
- Gift vouchers or other methods you add yourself as payment types
BelloPOS does not take card payments itself and is not connected to a card machine. You keep your own terminal from your bank or payment provider, take the payment there, and select the payment method in BelloPOS so your reports split cash and card correctly.
Questions merchants ask
Can I keep the mileage and VIN?
Yes. Plate, VIN, year, mileage and fuel level are fields of the garage card, and the plate and VIN are searchable.
Can I sell parts at the counter too?
Yes. The till keeps selling parts and accessories; the workshop jobs have their own tab and dashboard, and cash from both goes into the same drawer.
Can I give the customer an invoice?
Yes. A job card can be invoiced in its own numbered series, with labour and parts as lines and the tax shown.
Which plan includes the garage tools?
BelloPOS Pro and Pro+. The 7-day free trial includes them, and setup can fill the app with demo vehicles to try.
