BelloPOS plumbing jobs: leaks, a blocked toilet, a water heater installation, from requested to done

A call comes in: a leak under the sink, a fault in the fuse box, an air conditioner that blows warm. BelloPOS Services records the request as a numbered job with the customer, their WhatsApp, the address and what they asked for, and follows it through quote sent, scheduled, on the way, on site, waiting for parts and done. It is set up for plumbing, electrical work, air-conditioning, locksmiths and handymen, each with its own job types and fields (unit type, capacity and number of units for air-conditioning; lock type for a locksmith).

Visits go on a calendar per technician, by day or week; drag one to another slot to reschedule. Materials come off your stock, the customer pays a deposit or the whole job, and the warranty runs from the day it is done. Invoices have their own numbered series. It is part of BelloPOS Pro and runs on your own computer, offline.

How a job goes

1Record the request: customer, address, what is wrong.
2Send the quote and record the answer.
3Schedule the visit and assign the technician.
4Do the job, add the materials, mark it done.
5Take payment and print the invoice; the warranty starts.

How Tanzania pays, and how you record it

BelloPOS does not process payments and is not connected to any mobile money network, bank or card machine. The customer pays the way they always do, and you pick the payment method on the sale, so every sale shows how it was paid. You can add your own payment methods to match how your shop gets paid.

Cash in shillings, with change shown on screen and a cash drawer
M-Pesa (Vodacom) to your Lipa number, added as its own payment method
Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money and HaloPesa, each added as a payment method
Bank app and mobile banking transfers, added as another method
Visa and Mastercard on your bank's own card machine
Any other method you take, added by you in a few clicks
Credit for regular customers, settled at month-end (Go plan)
Accounts settled later by bank transfer for schools, lodges and offices (Go plan)

Because BelloPOS does not read your mobile money statements, check the sales recorded under each wallet against the M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa or Airtel Money messages and statements at closing. A gap usually means a payment was recorded under the wrong method.

Which trades does it cover?

Plumbing, electrical work, air-conditioning, locksmiths and handymen, each with its own job types; you pick yours at setup and can rename or add types in Manage.

Can I see each technician’s day?

Yes. Filter the calendar by technician, or open the load view to see how many jobs each one has per day.

Can I send an invoice?

Yes. Each job can be invoiced in its own numbered series, with a credit note if it must be cancelled.
