A repair shop juggles dozens of devices at once: a cracked screen promised for tomorrow, a laptop waiting for a part, a console nobody has diagnosed yet. BelloPOS Services gives each one a numbered ticket with the customer, the device, its IMEI or serial number, the access code (masked, never printed), the fault as the customer described it, the condition at intake and what was left with it: charger, case, SIM card.

Statuses follow the workshop: received, diagnosing, waiting for approval, waiting for parts, in repair, testing, ready, delivered. Send the quote and record the answer, use parts from your own stock, take a deposit and the balance at pickup, and tell the customer it is ready on WhatsApp in one tap. It runs in BelloPOS Pro next to your till, so the accessories you sell and the repairs you take in share the same customers and cash drawer.

What you get

A ticket and a label per device

Print the customer’s ticket with a barcode and QR code of its number, and a label to stick on the phone or laptop. Scan it into the search to find the ticket.

Quotes before the work

Diagnose, send the estimate and record whether the customer accepts it, so nobody repairs a device the owner did not approve.

Parts that count themselves

Screens, batteries and charging ports come off stock when you add them to a ticket and go back if the job is cancelled. Low parts show on the dashboard.

Warranty you can prove

Delivery starts the warranty, and a serial or IMEI that comes back is recognised as a warranty return, with the first repair in its history.

How a job goes

1Take the device in: customer, model, IMEI or serial, fault, what came with it.
2Print the ticket for the customer and the label for the device.
3Diagnose, send the quote and record the answer.
4Repair with parts from stock and move the ticket to ready.
5Send the WhatsApp message, take the balance and hand it back under warranty.

How Tanzania pays, and how you record it

BelloPOS does not process payments and is not connected to any mobile money network, bank or card machine. The customer pays the way they always do, and you pick the payment method on the sale, so every sale shows how it was paid. You can add your own payment methods to match how your shop gets paid.

Because BelloPOS does not read your mobile money statements, check the sales recorded under each wallet against the M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa or Airtel Money messages and statements at closing. A gap usually means a payment was recorded under the wrong method.

Questions merchants ask

Which plan do I need for repairs?

BelloPOS Pro or Pro+. Services is a Pro module, and the 7-day free trial includes it. Say at setup that you repair devices and BelloPOS starts with demo tickets to try.

Can I still sell phones and accessories?

Yes. The till keeps selling as usual; repairs have their own tab, payments and dashboard, so your sales figures stay clean, and cash from both goes into the same drawer.

Can my technicians use their phone?

Yes. With the staff phone app on the shop’s Wi-Fi, a technician takes devices in, adds photos with the camera, adds parts and changes the status, in their own name.

Can I invoice a repair?

Yes. A ticket can be invoiced in its own numbered series, with the tax taken out of the total and a credit note to cancel it.
