A tailor’s counter fills with garments and promises: trousers to hem by Friday, a jacket to take in, a caftan made to measure with two fittings. BelloPOS Services gives each job a ticket with the customer, the garment, its tag number, the alterations asked for, the measurements, the fitting date, any stains and what came with it: fabric, buttons, a zip, a belt.
Hemming, resizing, repair, made to measure and zip replacement are your service types, and the ticket goes from received to in progress, fitting, ready and delivered. Supplies used can come off stock, the customer pays a deposit and the balance at pickup, and one tap tells them on WhatsApp when it is ready. It is part of BelloPOS Pro and works offline.

Write the measurements and the fitting date on the job, so whoever cuts and whoever fits work from the same numbers.
A fitting status
Fitting is a status of its own, between in progress and ready, so the list shows who is due to try something on.
What came with it
Fabric, buttons, zips and belts left by the customer are ticked on the ticket.
Deposit and pickup
Take a deposit on a made-to-measure order and the balance when the customer collects it.

How a job goes
- 1Take the garment in: customer, tag, alterations, measurements, what came with it.
- 2Set the fitting date and print the ticket.
- 3Work on it; move it to fitting, then ready.
- 4Send the WhatsApp message.
- 5Take the balance and hand it over.
How Tanzania pays, and how you record it
BelloPOS does not process payments and is not connected to any mobile money network, bank or card machine. The customer pays the way they always do, and you pick the payment method on the sale, so every sale shows how it was paid. You can add your own payment methods to match how your shop gets paid.
- Cash in shillings, with change shown on screen and a cash drawer
- M-Pesa (Vodacom) to your Lipa number, added as its own payment method
- Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money and HaloPesa, each added as a payment method
- Bank app and mobile banking transfers, added as another method
- Visa and Mastercard on your bank's own card machine
- Any other method you take, added by you in a few clicks
- Credit for regular customers, settled at month-end (Go plan)
- Accounts settled later by bank transfer for schools, lodges and offices (Go plan)
Because BelloPOS does not read your mobile money statements, check the sales recorded under each wallet against the M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa or Airtel Money messages and statements at closing. A gap usually means a payment was recorded under the wrong method.

Can I keep a customer’s measurements?
Yes. Measurements are a field of the tailoring ticket, and a search by the customer’s name finds their past tickets.
Can I plan fittings?
Yes. Each ticket has a fitting date, and fitting is one of the statuses.
Can I take a deposit?
Yes. Deposit at the order, balance at pickup; the ticket shows what is still owed.
