BelloPOS runs entirely on the Windows PC or Mac at your counter: orders, tables, the kitchen screen and printed receipts all work with the connection unplugged, because nothing has to leave the building to be saved.

Kitchen orders that arrive instantly

Send each course straight to a kitchen screen or printer as it is taken. Cooks see what is waiting and what is ready, so the pass and the floor stop shouting at each other.

Receipt printer support

Print the ticket on a 58 mm or 80 mm thermal printer, or on any printer your computer already uses. Customise the header, add your ICE and tax lines, and export an invoice to PDF when a customer asks for one.

Staff accounts and permissions

Give every waiter their own login and decide exactly what each role can see: who can void a line, apply a discount, or open the cash drawer, and what appears in the day's totals.

A POS system for restaurants, eateries and lodges

Whether it is a busy hoteli serving chipsi mayai and pilau at lunchtime, a nyama choma place full on a Friday night or a restaurant feeding tourists, the problem is the same: orders lost between the table and the kitchen, and bills that do not match the cash. With Pro, waiters take orders on their phones over your own Wi-Fi, the order prints at once in the kitchen or at the grill, and each table keeps a running bill. When guests pay by cash, M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa or card, the sale records how it was paid.

Because everything runs on the restaurant's own network, service continues when the internet drops in Stone Town or the network is weak at a lodge outside Arusha. Ingredients and drinks come off stock as dishes and bottles sell, and the best-sellers report shows what earns money. Each waiter signs in separately, and the sales report shows what each person sold. Fiscal receipts stay on your EFD or VFD, and Zanzibar businesses follow Zanzibar tax rules, so confirm your obligations with your accountant.

How Tanzania pays, and how you record it

BelloPOS does not process payments and is not connected to any mobile money network, bank or card machine. The customer pays the way they always do, and you pick the payment method on the sale, so every sale shows how it was paid. You can add your own payment methods to match how your shop gets paid.

Because BelloPOS does not read your mobile money statements, check the sales recorded under each wallet against the M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa or Airtel Money messages and statements at closing. A gap usually means a payment was recorded under the wrong method.

Restaurant POS questions

Can waiters take orders on their phones?

Yes, with Pro. Waiters open the handheld web app on their own phones, connected to your restaurant's Wi-Fi, choose the table and send the order. It prints straight away on the kitchen or bar printer. No app store download is needed, and nothing goes over the internet, so it keeps working when the connection drops.

Can I keep several tables open at once?

Yes. Each table keeps its own running bill, so waiters can add rounds through the evening while takeaway orders go straight through the till. When guests are ready, print the bill and choose how they paid, cash, M-Pesa or card, so every sale shows its payment method when you count the drawer at closing.

Does BelloPOS issue fiscal receipts for the restaurant?

No. BelloPOS is not an EFD or VFD and is not approved by TRA or ZRA. If your turnover makes you liable, keep issuing fiscal receipts from your approved device. BelloPOS handles orders, tables, stock, staff and reports. Please confirm your fiscal and VAT obligations with your accountant, especially in Zanzibar where separate rules apply.

Does it track food and drink stock?

Yes. Bottles, cans and packaged goods come off stock as they sell, and you can track ingredients by setting them up as products and adjusting with regular counts. Low-stock alerts and the best-sellers report help you order before the weekend. Ares, the AI assistant, can tell you which dishes sold most this month.

Which plan does a restaurant need?
