Questions about Ares

Does Ares cost extra?

Ares itself is included in Go, Pro and Pro+. It runs on your own DeepSeek or Gemini AI key, and that provider bills you for what you use, which for a shop is usually a few cents a day. BelloPOS charges nothing extra for it.

Does Ares need internet?

Yes. Ares needs internet to talk to the AI model. Everything else in BelloPOS keeps working without internet, so if your connection drops, you keep selling and Ares answers again when you are back online.

What happens to my data when I use Ares?

Your shop data stays on your own computer. When you ask Ares something, the question and the shop information needed to answer it are sent to the AI provider you chose (DeepSeek or Gemini) under your own key. Nothing is sent to BelloPOS.

Can Ares change or delete things by mistake?

Ares can only do what the signed-in user is allowed to do. By default it asks before deleting anything or changing several things at once, and you can make it ask before every change.

Which languages does Ares understand?

Ares understands typed or spoken requests in many languages, including mixed ones like French, Arabic, Darija and English in the same sentence, and it answers in the language you write in.

How does Ares work on Telegram?

Add your Ares bot to your shop’s Telegram group. You and the people you allow can ask questions, get reports as PDF or Excel, receive alerts when stock runs low or a sale is deleted, and send product photos to your catalog. The bot runs while BelloPOS is open on your main register.
