A parapharmacy carries hundreds of close references (the same cream in three sizes, the same brand across ten ranges) and customers who come back for exactly what they bought last time. BelloPOS scans each box at the counter, keeps products organized by category, and remembers what each customer bought, on the Windows PC or Mac in your shop, with no internet needed.

How Americans pay, and how BelloPOS records it

US shoppers mostly pay by card, with contactless tap to pay growing fast, but cash still matters at corner stores and in cities that require it. BelloPOS records every payment type you take.

Credit and debit cards, taken on your own card reader and recorded as card
Tap to pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a contactless card, on your terminal
Cash, with the change due worked out for you
Personal checks, recorded as their own payment type
Venmo, Cash App or Zelle, set up as custom payment types
House accounts: customers who buy now and pay later, with a limit (Go and up)
EBT/SNAP, processed on your own authorized equipment and recorded in BelloPOS

BelloPOS does not connect to a card processor or EBT network and never charges processing fees. Payments are taken on your existing terminal and recorded in BelloPOS so your daily totals match. In New York City, most stores must also accept cash.

Questions merchants ask

Can I track the same product in several sizes?

Yes. Each size is its own product with its own barcode, price and stock, grouped under the same category.

Is there a demo parapharmacy catalog?

Yes. Pick "Try with demo data" and then "Parapharmacy" at setup: skincare, baby care, hygiene, supplements and first aid are created for you.

What does it cost?

Lite is free for life with checkout, stock and barcodes. Paid plans add purchases and more, sold for life or by the month.
