How Americans pay, and how BelloPOS records it
US shoppers mostly pay by card, with contactless tap to pay growing fast, but cash still matters at corner stores and in cities that require it. BelloPOS records every payment type you take.
- Credit and debit cards, taken on your own card reader and recorded as card
- Tap to pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a contactless card, on your terminal
- Cash, with the change due worked out for you
- Personal checks, recorded as their own payment type
- Venmo, Cash App or Zelle, set up as custom payment types

BelloPOS does not connect to a card processor or EBT network and never charges processing fees. Payments are taken on your existing terminal and recorded in BelloPOS so your daily totals match. In New York City, most stores must also accept cash.

Can I record a deposit and the rest later?
Yes. The amount paid is stored on the sale and the remaining balance stays visible until it is settled.
Is there a demo furniture catalog?
Yes. At setup choose "Try with demo data" then "Furniture" to get living room, bedroom, dining, office and decor products.
Can several people use it?
Yes. Each salesperson has their own login, and roles decide what they can see and change.
