Cosmetics is a business of many small, valuable references: dozens of brands, hundreds of shades, and a stockroom where a miscount is money. BelloPOS keeps every reference under its brand with its own barcode and count, so a scan at the register is also a correction to your stock, and the shelf and the screen never drift apart.

Your regulars are the other half of the trade. Customer profiles keep purchase history and balances at hand, so advice is informed and a returning customer is recognized. It all runs offline on a Windows PC or Mac, and the free lifetime license is enough to open the shop with.

How Americans pay, and how BelloPOS records it

US shoppers mostly pay by card, with contactless tap to pay growing fast, but cash still matters at corner stores and in cities that require it. BelloPOS records every payment type you take.

Credit and debit cards, taken on your own card reader and recorded as card
Tap to pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a contactless card, on your terminal
Cash, with the change due worked out for you
Personal checks, recorded as their own payment type
Venmo, Cash App or Zelle, set up as custom payment types
House accounts: customers who buy now and pay later, with a limit (Go and up)
EBT/SNAP, processed on your own authorized equipment and recorded in BelloPOS

BelloPOS does not connect to a card processor or EBT network and never charges processing fees. Payments are taken on your existing terminal and recorded in BelloPOS so your daily totals match. In New York City, most stores must also accept cash.

Questions merchants ask

Can I organize products by brand?

Yes. Brands and categories both exist, so a large catalog of similar references stays findable for whoever is serving.

Does it keep customer history?

Yes. Each customer profile carries their past orders and any outstanding balance, visible at the register while you serve them.

Is there a free plan?

The Lite plan is free for life and covers selling, stock, barcodes and receipts. Larger plans add purchases, invoice export and the customer screen, sold as a lifetime license or month by month, with no automatic renewal.
