A grooming salon books animals, not just people: a poodle for a full groom, a cat for a bath, a dog staying three nights while its owner travels. BelloPOS Services books each visit with the owner, the pet’s name, species, breed, age, weight, microchip and vaccination status, its health notes and what it came with: leash, collar, carrier, food, toy, medication.
Grooming, baths, nail trims, boarding and daycare are your service types, with a staff member per booking and a calendar by day or week. Statuses go from booked and confirmed to in progress, ready and done, and products used can come off stock. The food and accessories you sell are normal sales at the register. It is part of BelloPOS Pro and works offline.

How a job goes

How Americans pay, and how BelloPOS records it
US shoppers mostly pay by card, with contactless tap to pay growing fast, but cash still matters at corner stores and in cities that require it. BelloPOS records every payment type you take.
- Credit and debit cards, taken on your own card reader and recorded as card
- Tap to pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a contactless card, on your terminal
- Cash, with the change due worked out for you
- Personal checks, recorded as their own payment type
- Venmo, Cash App or Zelle, set up as custom payment types
- House accounts: customers who buy now and pay later, with a limit (Go and up)
- EBT/SNAP, processed on your own authorized equipment and recorded in BelloPOS
BelloPOS does not connect to a card processor or EBT network and never charges processing fees. Payments are taken on your existing terminal and recorded in BelloPOS so your daily totals match. In New York City, most stores must also accept cash.
Questions merchants ask
Can I record vaccination and microchip?
Yes. Both are fields of the pet care booking, with species, breed, age and weight.
Can I take boarding stays?
Yes. Boarding and daycare are service types, with the drop-off on the calendar and a due date for pickup.
Can I sell pet food in the same app?
Yes. The register sells your products as usual; the Services module (Pro) adds the bookings.
